CHILDREN'S ENDODONTICS
Kids can suffer from infected teeth and dental trauma just like adults, and the Elite Endodontics team is always here to ensure your little ones get the treatment they need to restore and protect their smile.

WHEN DO I NEED TO TAKE MY CHILD TO AN ENDODONTIST?
Many parents are unsure when they should take their child to see an endodontist as opposed to a general dentist. Any of these scenarios are appropriate to schedule an appointment for your child at ELITE ENDODONTICS
After an Oral Injury: If your child plays a contact sport and their tooth gets cracked, or if they break or damage a tooth while playing or because of a slip and fall, an endodontist is the best choice. Endodontists can help restore and treat damaged teeth.
Traumatic dental injuries often occur as a result of an accident or sports injury. The majority of these injuries are minor - chipped teeth. It’s less common to dislodge tooth or have it knocked completely out but these injuries are more severe. Treatment depends on the type, location and severity of each injury. Regardless of the extent of the injury, your tooth requires immediate examination by a dentist or an endodontist. Sometimes, your neighboring teeth suffer an additional, unnoticed injury that can only be detected by a thorough dental exam.
ELITE ENDODONTICS is specialized in treating traumatic dental injuries. With advanced skills, techniques and technologies we often can save injured teeth. If you have a cracked or injured tooth, contact us right away. We offer tremendous flexibility in accommodating emergency cases, including weekends in some instances.
ELITE ENDODONTICS OFFERS GENTLE, KID-FRIENDLY CARE
Tooth decay is the most common preventable chronic childhood disease, and if left untreated, it can lead to an infection that requires pediatric endodontic care. If you want more information regarding our services, or would like to schedule a consultation for your child, contact us today.
If Their Tooth Is Very Sensitive: If your child’s tooth is very sensitive when eating hot or cold foods, or when consuming very sugary foods or drinks, they may have a deep cavity or an infected tooth, and it’s best to see an endodontist for treatment.
If They Have a Toothache: A painful and prolonged toothache could indicate a tooth infection, which should be treated by an experienced endodontist using a pulpotomy (baby root canal).
After a Referral From Your Dentist: Pediatric dentists may sometimes refer patients to endodontists for complex root canals and other such procedures. If your child’s pediatric dentist thinks it’s a good idea to refer you to a specialist, contact ONE ENDO right away.
